Personality Test

This week in e-Comm we took a personality test to identify our traits and qualities. The test was about 50 questions long. At the end of the test we received four letters and percentages for each letter  to explain how much of each trait we possessed. Below are my letters and percentages after taking the personality test.
After receiving our letters we researched them to see exactly what those letters stood for and meant I realized that it as very accurate. ESPF stands for extravert, sensing, feeling and perceiving. It says that  ESPF people are usually very outgoing and enjoy being around others. Which is very true about me.

After reading more about ESPF's I came across some general facts and the core values. I especially thought some of them described me. One of my favorite things to do is dance and be with other people. Dance takes a lot of my time so I don't always get to hang out with my friends but I really enjoy spending time at dance with my friends sharing a common goal. I also played softball, soccer and basketball when I was little which are team sports a require communication among all the players which I really enjoyed.

Above I found some celebrities that have similar qualities ad the same letters. most of them were actors or performers in some way and all of them were people who are often in front of many people. From this I realize ESPFs are common performers.

Then we took another personality test. There were four columns and we had to number from 4-1 to show which trait applied to us most. then at the end we added up the totals of each column to determine which animal were most like. I received otter, which meant that they we outgoing which I true and very similar to my other traits.

Printing Processes

Relief Printing:  Relief Printing is a  printing process where the surface faces of the paint block are inked; empty areas are ink free. Printing the image is a simple task in inking the face of the block, making it contrast more with the paper. 1.) Prep your block, you can tone it using Indian wash or jet black film ink. 2.) Place carbon paper transfer on tip of the block. 3.) Once the paper is transferred, you have the choice of what kind of composition you want to have which will have a impact on what tool you decide to press with. 4.) Roll in over the surface of the block, then place it on the press where it is past through transferring ink to paper.  Intaglio Printing: Intaglio printing is any print making process when the image area is below the flat surface of the printing plate. The design is cut, scratched, or etched into the plate.  1.) Prepare the plate by polishing and cleaning it so that there are no scratches or marks that coul...

Color Wheel

The Project: This week in e-Comm we made color wheel! We did this project to learn the basics of adobe illustrator and color schemes. We learned about the primary and secondary colors. First we learned about good color schemes and the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. Then we were taught how to use adobe illustrator. What I learned; First we earned about color schemes. There are many different color schemes, including warm and cool colors, monochromatic, color triads, analogous colors, and complementary colors. Then we learned how to use adobe illustrator. First we created a new file using he web setting which was 800x600 pixels. Then we started making our color wheel. Then we learned about all the tools on the side and the short cuts for those tools. How it went: Overall I think making the color wheel went really well. It was very fun to learn about color and different color schemes. Also I have never used adobe before, it was hard at first but got a lot easier.

1 in 2000 feature story

The last few weeks in e-Comm we work on writing and creating our first feature story. We started by watching videos and learning about what it take to write a feature story. Then we picked directors and got into our groups. When we got into our groups we were instructed to pick a subject that did something interesting in our class. Since Jaden, Maleah, and I both participated in this years marching band we decided the Drew would be a perfect topic. Then we wrote 21 questions for Drew and 21 questions for his percussion teacher Mr.Carter. Then we got into filming. First we filmed interviews with both people and then worked for about a week trying to find and film b-roll. The final step in this project was editing which was hard than usual because there was more steps in editing feature story’s than just normal entertainment videos. We had to write and record voiceovers and decide sequencing and many other steps. Overall this project was very different than anything we have done before...
