Hawaii Panorama

During Christmas break of 2016 my parents, my brother and I took a family vacation to Kauai on of the Hawaiian islands. A couple year before this trip we went to Hawaii fro another family vacation but were only there for 4-5 days. This trip we were there for 10 days so we got to do and see a lot more things.

When we arrived at the airport in Kauai are luggage had Benn left at another airport where we had a layover, what a great start to the trip. The airport workers gave us some necessities like a toothbrush and toothpaste and other things like that. they told us we would be able to get our luggage in one or two days. We did not want to waste time waiting in the hotel so we went to a few local stores and bought swimsuits and another pair of clothes, and made the best of a bad situation.

Even though our luggage was misplaced in the airports we still had a great time as a family on our vacation. Most of our days we just spent relaxing on the beach but a few days we traveled around the island to do some sight seeing of the island nature. In Kauai there were lot of waterfalls, flowers and chicken so while we were they I took a lot of pictures of all of those things.

Since I had taken so amen picture of this vacation I decided to do my panorama project on it. At first this project was really hard because it was hard to figure out how to combine the pictures and where to place them. But after I started it became very fun and I think my project turned out very well.

Making a Logo

The Process: Over the past few weeks we have been making are own logos. We started out by making sketches using our name. we made many different sketches then we narrowed it down to three. we then took those three logos and put them into adobe illustrator. Once in adobe illustrator we made different combinations of each logo. after we choose a final design in black and white we made different color combinations.    Why I choose this logo: I choose this logo because it was simple and complex at the same time. I liked the colors grey and back because the are neutral colors and could go well on anything The font I chose is very cute an happy for the Ava Clayton. The font I use fro the C was very simple and serious.

Music Video

• Embed your work at the top of your blog post under your Title. These past few weeks in video we worked on recreating the Bet on It video from High School Musical 2. As a group we thought this video would be really fun to create and challenging in many ways. We also had a good idea for locations already so we thought it would be do able. We started with pre-production by dividing up the work to be efficient and effective because we wanted to have as much times as we could to film. We also decided Alex was going to act, Josh and Drew we going to mainly do the camera, and Maleah and I were going to help with choreography and making sure the video and our filming was the same and there wasn't anything weird going on. After we had footage we all edited together since we couldn't have everyone at the same time, so we had one person run editing and everyone else helping and we rotated the main editor. As a group I think we worked together really well and dealt with the issues w...

Printing Processes

Relief Printing:  Relief Printing is a  printing process where the surface faces of the paint block are inked; empty areas are ink free. Printing the image is a simple task in inking the face of the block, making it contrast more with the paper. 1.) Prep your block, you can tone it using Indian wash or jet black film ink. 2.) Place carbon paper transfer on tip of the block. 3.) Once the paper is transferred, you have the choice of what kind of composition you want to have which will have a impact on what tool you decide to press with. 4.) Roll in over the surface of the block, then place it on the press where it is past through transferring ink to paper.  Intaglio Printing: Intaglio printing is any print making process when the image area is below the flat surface of the printing plate. The design is cut, scratched, or etched into the plate.  1.) Prepare the plate by polishing and cleaning it so that there are no scratches or marks that coul...
