Quarter 4 Reflection


This quarter in e-Comm we got into groups to create a product and advertise it. we did this to show all of the skills we learned throughout the year in e9. We worked on the project the whole fourth quarter which seems to become very long and extensive. During this quarter as a group we faced many challenges. We ofter had creative block and would just sit the trying to figure out what to do. During this we learned that it was best to just take some time to focus on something else and then come back to it later. After making our first video we were told that if we tried a different idea might portray the product better so we took the advice and refilled our video. Overall I think the this quarter was very fund a great way to rap up the year.


Since we had the whole class to work on the project it was very easy to get distracted, we had to use time management and stay on task. When we had extra time we usually just stat workingon something else or tried ways to make our product better. I think my strengths in. e-Comm are being able to manage my time wisely and stay organized, I also think I am very good a collaborating and communicating my ideas to a group. I used my strength to make sue my gourd was on task and be sure we were all on the same page. I think I could improve on my animation skills, when we in animation I made sure to stay very focused so I could do my very best.



This quarter I really enjoyed really having a lot of freedom on our products. If I could do this again I would want to be more creative with our product because it wasn't very creative. Learning from this quarter I think we should keep doing al the rotations through each other one because I lost some skill s after not doing them for a long time. My goal next year in e-Comm is to still work on animation and websites so I don't lose those important skills.

As a group we thought this video would be really fun to create and challenging in many ways. We also had a good idea for locations already so we thought it would be do able. Movie Trailer

The past few weeks in video we were challenged to recreate a movie trailer. My group was assigned the movie Napoleon Dynamite. We started by doing pre production. First we storyboarded, made lists of locations, characters, and probs and then screen recorded the video to break up each scene. Pre-production went well and we got it all done in plenty of time even though at times some of our group was very distracted. Next we got started on the filming process, which started off rough because we had to wait on our props. Once we started filming went smoothly. A lot of out clips were at school so that made it easy to film using class but it was very hard because of our schedules to film outside of school. The last few days before the video was due we finished our filming. When we were outside of school the group got very distracted but we finally got all our clips filmed. typography project

These past few weeks in graphic design we have been working on quotes in Adobe Illustrator for our typography project. We started by researching to find quotes the we liked and related to our lives. we only had to find four but at first I didn't love any of my quotes so I found about 10 and then picked my favorite four from that. then we looked at  daft.com and found fonts that we wanted to download to use in our quotes. the part was hard because a lot of the fonts I liked were similar. After the research process we started actually creating our quotes on illustrator.  First I started by typing out all my quotes in the original font. After that I organized each word and change the font then I added black and white graphics.
